Playground games.

Don't you remember, when you were in elementary?
Think back now. Wasn't the sun just a little brighter? The grass a bit greener? The sky a bit bluer? Wasn't there more rabbits, more inchworms, more life? More laughter, more talking, more screams.

And there was that play structure the teacher let you loose on for an hour after lunch.

With that large slide everyone liked to climb up, and the swings someone broke their arm on, and the monkey bars all the girls were hanging on.

Remember?

And remember those games.

Tag, Hide and Seek, Tug-Of-War, Jacks, Frisbee, Dodgeball, Kickball, Four Square, Four Corners, Red Rover, Red Light Green Light, Hopscotch, Ring Around The Rosie, Freeze Dancing, Basketball, Soccer, Mr. Fox, Cookie Monster, Green Ghost, the list went on forever, and more and more were made up every single day.

It was all so simple, just playing those games.

So now I think.

Life.

What is life?

I don't know how to define it. And if you did, you wouldn't be sitting here now, would you?

What life truly is.

What life is supposed to be.

Well, I've been thinking for some time now.

Life.

It's just like a playground.

Only toys are guns and basketballs are atomic bombs and there is so much more war and violence and hate.

But does it need to be like that?

Life has gotten so confusing. I ask people, and no one really knows what is happening outside of their little world.

Ever heard of Haite?

Yeah, I hadn't either.

Go look it up if you don't know.

But you won't find anything. Because the story of Haite has been replaced by the story of Britney Spears trying to get back together with K.Fed.

Because that is something people can understand, something that can be comprehended.

Why were we so happy back then?

Because the rules made sense. Life made sense. And we were happy.

Maybe, maybe if life made more sense. If the rules made sense again.

I think we'd be a lot better off, don't you?

This is a thought bank for now. This is my movement. It will be slow at first, I know. But

I will not give up.

These are my ideas. These are the things I have found in my time on this world. This is what I have seen. My conclusions.

And they will be different from yours.

But I think together, we can make a difference.

There is no way we can fail.

So, do you want the rules to be cut down? Simple again?

Do you want war and hate to stop?

Yeah, so do I.

But we both know that's a long way off.

But I refuse to wait for one of 'them' to figure everything out.

I am one of 'them'.

So I will do this.

All I ask, is that those of you who find this:

Think.

About what I say.

Just for a moment.

Try to see things from my perspective.

Realize what I'm saying.

If you agree, spread the word.

If you don't, correct me.

I'm one of them.

But I'm one of you.

One of us.

The only difference is,

I am going to turn this world back into a playground.

...I think I've read too many sci-fi books, but this kind of...scares me, a little bit. Any world with peace will always also have violence. Any world with love will always have hate. Any world with good simply has to have evil. What's wrong with the world defines what's right with it.
I'm all for making the world a better place, but I'm not about to get behind anyone until I know what they actually stand for. This is the kind of speech Barack Obama would love. I mean no disrespect to you, yourself, but please, less emotion-mongering, more substance. I'll support you if I agree. As of now, you sound like more than a few villlains from stories I've read. :P
